This is a current list (2023) of all the rides in Epcot, with height requirements and descriptions. While Epcot is the park with the least amount of rides in Disney World, there are still enough that you will need at least a day to ride them all. And this is in addition to all of the other experiences available in Epcot including dining, shopping, exploring and learning.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (any height) Located in the France pavilion in the World Showcase, is a 4D ride experience. Board an adorable “rat car”, and ride through the kitchen, dining room and walls of Gusteau’s restaurant from the movie “Ratatouille”. This is such a fun ride for the whole family. There are some mild spins, but no drops. (4 ½ mins)

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros (any eight) This is a family favorite of ours located inside the Mexico pavilion. Most people don’t even know it’s there. Board a boat similar to Small World and float along while viewing scenes on either side of you displaying The Three Caballeros (Donald Duck, Panchito & Jose) on an adventure throughout Mexico. This ride is very nostalgic and in the beginning, the ride floats alongside diners at the indoor restaurant San Angel Inn Restaurante, an authentic Mexican restaurant with simulated evening light and views of a replica Mayan pyramid. The Seas with Nemo & Friends (any height) This is a slow dark ride. Climb aboard a “clam-mobile” and ride through scenes based on the Finding Nemo movie. The end of the ride releases right into the SeaBase aquarium, an often missed portion of the park. (4 mins.)
There’s plenty to see and do inside this pavilion including the ever popular Turtle Talk with Crush experience, where guests of all ages can interact with Crush, from the Finding Nemo movie. Also, the aquarium features over 4,000 live sea creatures including sea turtles, fish, rays, dolphins and sharks, with observation decks, interactive exhibits and a scavenger hunt.

Journey Into Imagination With Figment (any height) A slow, dark ride. Board a slow moving vehicle and journey with Figment, the playful purple dragon as your guide through the Imagination Institute. Riders explore the 5 senses while Figment acts ornery. Not a must-see, but over recent years Figment has become a fan favorite of many and since there is seldom any line, it is a great ride to enjoy on a busy day. On our latest visits, my two teens had to buy mini figment plushes at the concluding gift shop, that magnetically sit on their soldiers, or on top of their ball caps.(11 mins.)

Frozen Ever After– Located in the Norway pavilion, one of the most popular rides in Epcot with wait times lasting greater than an hour most of the day. Plan on using Genie+ or rope drop this one. A fun dark ride with scenes, characters and songs from the movie Frozen. The ride features one small forward facing drop and one longer but less steep backwards drop and you may get a little wet from the splash. For the drops, compare to the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Worth riding at least once, especially with children who love the movie. (5 mins.)

Living with the Land (Any height) This is a slow moving water ride floating through the Epcot greenhouses. Located in the Land pavilion at World Nature, this ride is a nice break during the day but can be a little boring for children. You float along in a boat inside the pavilion, learning about agriculture and viewing different biomes. Fun fact: the produce you see growing here is used in restaurants throughout Walt Disney World! Part of the ride goes by the Garden Grill Restaurant, an underrated character meal location, which slowly rotates, and has table visits from friends including Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale in farmer clothing. Or try the cafeteria style restaurant Sunshine Seasons, which serves very fresh delicious food choices. (15 mins.)

Spaceship Earth (Any height) Slow moving dark ride up through the iconic geosphere known as the “golf-ball”, traveling back through time learning about the history of communication. The ride features animatronic scenes showing the development of communication through the ages. On the final portion of the ride, guests can use the interactive feature of the touch screen in their ride vehicle. This ride is a classic must-see ride often with little to no wait time as the ride vehicles load and unload quickly. It has been a favorite of my daughter’s since she first rode it at 5 years old. (15 mins.)

Soarin’ Around the World (40in. height required) Simulator ride that raises you up to a giant 80 ft. domed IMAX screen, and uses gentle motion, scents and wind effects to simulate hang- gliding over beautiful scenery of the world including the Great Wall of China, France & even Disney World. This will give you the feeling of flying, but you are able to look to the side for relief. A favorite of many. (5 min.+ 5 min. pre-show)

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (40 inch minimum) This is the newest addition to Epcot located in the World Discovery section of the park. Based on the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, the ride and queue are must-see, but be prepared for the most thrilling ride in the park, with a backwards launch and spins and tilts as if you are floating in space. It is a rollercoaster though there are no major drops or inversions, but because it is so dark, you are unable to see any of the track. We found the story line to be confusing, but the special effects and ride components themselves are great. Warning: this ride is referred to by many as a serious nausea-inducing ride.(3 ½ mins.)

Test Track (40 inch) Located in the World Discovery area of the park. This is another favorite ride where you design your own concept car on computers in the Chevrolet Design Center, then board ride vehicles that test performance including braking, cornering, and accelerating with speeds up to 65 mph on the “test track”. I recommend riding this at rope drop, or with an early Genie + selection, as it seems like the ride breaks down almost daily. (5 mins. + 5-8 mins. in design center)

Mission:Space Located in the World Discovery area of the park, this ride has two different experiences, Green and Orange. Both rides, you will board a simulated space capsule and feel as if you are an actual NASA astronaut launching into space. The Orange Mars mission is intense and you will experience G Forces (2.5) that spin and push you into the back of your seat. The Green Earth mission is gentler with no spins, only rocking. Both sides are cool, but definitely claustrophobic. The orange level is severe and has many warning signs posted around. Mission: Space is known as the only ride in Disney to provide barf bags right on the ride. (6 mins)

With so many fun rides to enjoy, be sure to have a plan when visiting Epcot. Research and check typical wait times for rides before your park day and make a strategic plan for the day. It is a very large park that does require a lot of walking so it is best to try to do most, if not all, of the rides in an area before moving on if possible.
